sounds like your thermostat is stuck shut. located where the upper radiatorhose goes into the engine block. Cheap to replace $15 and should only take 30 minutes.. good luck.
The starter motor/solenoid on a 2000 Chevy S10 Blazer is on the lower passenger side of the engine block. If your trying to replace it, first, disconnect the negative battery terminal. Remove the differential carrier shield. Disconnect the bolted solenoid cables. Remove 2 vertical bolts securing the starter motor to the engine block. When reinstalling starter, tighten mounting bolts to 50 Nm/37 lb. ft.
It's on the Passenger side. #1 is in front on the drivers side.
I'm assuming you're trying to drain the radiator? Look up through the front wheel well on the passenger side. You'll see it on the back of the radiator.
The engine coolant sensor could be at fault.
I had bought an 87 Blazer when they came out that year and drove the dickens out of it until it was t-boned by a runaway 68 BelAir in 93. I never had a mechanical failure with the Vortec engine. The belt retention frame broke and I drove the Blazer without the fan belt about 3 miles home and the temp gage was trying to register white hot. I fixed the frame and the engine worked flawlessly. When the Blazer died, it had 178,000 miles and I couldn't save the engine because of insurance regs. Too bad.

I am trying to figure this out myself. I have a 96 Chevy S-10 Blazer and I believe it is the vacuum acuator located under the battery box in the engine compartment.
Top of the engine, passenger side near the back of the engine compartment. Please be sure to disconnect the battery before trying to remove it as the Positive battery terminal is connected directly to it. You do have to take off the serpentine belt.
Inside cab, behind passengers side kick panel.
Hey guys, I trying to take off a fan clutch on my 2003 chev blazer and want to know if I have to remove the radiator to do it.
