Because he is a chauvinist! He is going by the fact he is man and this is expected of him. Thank heavens most men aren't like this.
Personally I do not understand why you let him get away with this behavior 4 more times. Anyone can make a mistake once, but then you should learn from it.
Oh, by the way, sounds like the both of you are playing little games and you are trying to make him jealous. When two people go together, then they go together. If he enjoys other women, and you have 5 men hanging around you then neither of you are ready to settle down into a relationship.
Please talk to each other and decide what each of you wants.

It could be many different things, but the most likely could be guilt for how he treated you, insecurity, or feeling as if you may want to "get even" with him for his cheating. I would have to be more concerned with the fact that he cheated on you 5 times. That indicates a severe lack of respect for your feelings,your health and your life.
Why is he still your boyfriend..please don't settle for this guy!!! If u stay with him, try to work on these trust issues he has with you and other guys. He may just be afraid u r capable of the things he did. I think u deserve LOADS better.
The lack of trust most likely stems from his inability to keep a monogomous relationship and and his motives during interactions with the opposite sex...
In ths case, also carefully examine how he views relationships.. they will most likely have an ulterior motive in mind other than friendship... thus his instinct looks at the way you are interacting with other male friends as the same..
I find that the majority of heterosexual men are not into a friendship unless (my general concensus)
1) they have known you forever since childhood (or equivalent) days2) they are attracted to you in some way
I find with women (not all..just generally) can base a solid friendship no matter whether man or woman, without having the above requirements!
but seriously, buddy should shape up and ship out if he is in a relationship.. i would consider parting from this person or at least taking a step down from a one on one relationship because it in COMPLETELY unfair that he is holding you to standards he cannot uphold himself..
a good book to read "he's just not that into you" (can't remember the author)... it's excellent and describes thing in plain sense. look at the standards cause they are worth thinking about.

hi again, its the guy, first of all ladies, if you let him cheat, (take him back) he will always cheat again. you hanging out with guys makes him feel like your looking to cheat yourself.
