I don't like to conjecture with so little information, but . . .
If she has only done this once and after several years of marriage then she may have just had this one fling and still loves you and wants to stay with you. However, if she continues with the same person or repeats it with other men then she likely just wants you to take care of her for security and money, but does not want to be loyal or bonded.
This is all guesswork without knowing you and her.
