well weight loss is mostly genetic some people will lose weight more easily than others but it seems you want a simple answer so there are two things you need to take into account and these are Diet and Exercise. it doesn't matter how mush you run if you eat Pizza and chocolate all the time for example because you will still put on weight. people think that if they run then they can eat what they want this is not true running alone is not the answer to losing weight you must be disciplined in your diet and think about what you are putting in your mouth beer and wine are particularly bad for example as they contain massive amounts of calories. try running for longer as well as this will enable you to reach the fat burning stage of your exercise session because running/ jogging for one or two miles will not do anything to help you lose weight as you are burning an insignificant amount of calories and this is because you havn't been running long enough to start burning fat it has been proven that you must run for a minimum of 45 minutes in order to stimulate your metabolism and begin burning fat. Think LSD (long, slow, distance) this means maintaining a stedy pace for longer distances because it is running long distances that burns fat as it uses oxgen (aerobic respiration) an stimulates your metaabolism into burning fat because it is using fuel reserves stored in your body i.e. fat for example. short fast distances only use glucose and glycogen in your muscles and use less oxygen and so as a result will not lead to fat burning.

Is the mass of body the same thing as the weight?

No. The weight is the mass times the acceleration. W=ma. The weight can be zero if the acceleration is zero, even if the mass is positive. Mass and weight are not the same thing.

Does mass or weight stay the same when gravitational force changes?

Mass stays the same but weight does not. Mass is a measurement of how MUCH of an object there is, so a 5 Kilogram weight is still 5 Kilograms in space, even thought it would be weightless.

Can a person's weight change and their mass remain the same?

weight is mass times acceleration. If the acceleration is zero, e.g. weightless in space, then the mass you have is still the same, but since there is no acceleration, there is no weight. Experiment. If you attach a small mass to a spring balance, then while you are lifting it, the weight will increase.
