Will 1994 S10 2.2L engine interchange with 1998 S10 2.2L engine?

These are the same block and almost the same engine but there are differences, if you want to use these as interchangeable you need to use the ECU that goes with the year you are looking at using, the 1994-1995 engine are different from the 1996-2003 engine. The emissions are different as well as the intake and a few other accessories. They will however fit the same motor mounts and connect to the transmission interchangeably.
