Not without modification
Chevy didn't offer a 350 in an 86 Camaro, but if they did, it would theoretically work in an 87 Caprice.
Nope
Sure it will, just get your motor mounts made and swap the motors
Answerwith a little modification it will but no it won't bolt up to the 96 engine and besides the 96 had a stronger transmission then the 86.
Yes it will.I put a hood from an 86 put on my 91 RS and it fit perfect. I later dumped it for a new 89 Z28 hood cause the 86 hood was not cherry.
No, they're 2 different hood designs
Yes, with a small amount of bellhousing/flywheel/clutch adjustment.
Yes it will, No problems. New answer: When you asked your question, You were asking about the transmission if they were the same. When you messaged me I told you thay were the same. The last message sounded like you were going to put a 86 engine in a 88 camaro, You will run into all kinds of problems, The 86 V6 is a carbureted engine and the 88 V6 is a fuel injected engine. You need to put a fuel injected engine back in your camaro so the computer in your car will still controll the engine and transmission. The 86 V6 engine will fit in the car but your electrical system will not hook up to the 86 V6 engine. NEUTZ.
Yes
not all the way just hood front fenders, nose cone, doors and deck lid that is without cutting any panels
Anything is possible, but the Camaro and Firebird of those year had different hood designs, so the practical answer is no
