You should be able get the 24's on that car with a 5" lift since b-body cars like the caprice have a large wheel well. But if you are looking for a decent turn radius or would like to go with 26's you could always go with 7" complete kit. That 7" kit comes with everything you need to correct your alignment after putting on big rims. If you still want to go with the 5" kit you should at least get extended shocks with it so you can keep your ride quality as smooth as possible but a 5" kit for 26's would involve some trimming. I have 24 inch rims on my 88 Chevy Caprice. You will need longer springs all the way around and you will need to extend the rear trailing arms by taking them off and taking them to a welding shop and add 2 inches to it.

if you lift it and modify the suspension. I had a 95 caprice classic on 36's and it was the bounciest ride ever. i wouldnt bother with it
