Yes
Perhaps one from a contemporary Cadillac DeVille or Fleetwood may work, those are about the closest equivalents.
Yes. 91-96 impala, roadmaster, caprice, and fleetwood rear end are all the same and will fit with no modifications.
yes
Much like a 1975 Caprice Classic
Yes
None, there is no such thing as a 1998 Chevrolet Caprice Classic
Yes you can.
Google 1999-2000 Chevrolet Caprice Classic.
A Classic Caprice is a more upscale caprice, sort of like a separate trim level. Classics included small upgrades to the regular caprice, but not quite enough to warrant a trim designation.
go ask your mother
I don’t see why it wouldn’t fit. I’m using a 93 Caprice 9c1 steering box in my 94 FWB. Most B Body (Caprice )parts work on the D body( FWB). Mechanically bolting in yes. This is assuming you have bypassed or dealt with the VATS situation and disabled or dealt with the air bag situation. The only perk I think you would lose in the flash to pass feature on the blinker multifunctional switch which at the time was a Cadillac only feature I’m gonna do this swap on mine ASAP myself so I will post pictures soon
There is no such thing as a Chrysler Caprice Classic. Chevy made a car called the Caprice (I had a 1969).
