Most likely not! unless you have some type of warranty on it still. Subaru has a list of cars that fall under their head gasket recall. it stops in 03. The 2004 is not know to have the same head gasket issue as the earlier ones! Subaru has also released a product that they call coolant conditioner that is pretty much a fancy stop leak! The recall was to add a bottle of this conditioner to your vehicle before or after you noticed a leak and then Subaru would extend your Head Gasket warranty to 8 years from the date of original purchase or up to 100,000 miles. After that you were on your own again. Hope this is what you needed to know

Where is the fill for the 2001 Forester rear window washer tank?

Doesn't the rear window washer use the same reservoir as the windcreen washers? It does on my 1998 Forester. If I keep the reservoir topped up regularly I am never in want of liquid for washing the rear window. ***I had a 2001 (and now have a 2003) Forester. The front and rear share the same fill tank. The 'pickup' for the rear is set higher so tf the fluid level gets low the rear stops working first.

Why would there be oil in your radiator?

Odds are you have blown a head gasket and the antifreeze and oil flow share the same gasket. As the gasket wears, the antifreeze mixes into the oil and vice versa! I suggest replacing your current antifreeze and do a full flush. Test it for a few days and test if you have oil again. A tell tell sign of a blown head gasket is black smoke (burning oil) or white smoke (burning antifreeze ) coming out the exhaust.

What kind of cars do Subaru make?

Subaru makes several models with different purposes. One thing they share though is the ability to move freely on roads that are not perfectly paved. Most Subarus have four wheel drive, just kick it into four wheel drive and off you go into the outback!

Why is your 1982 Datsun 280zx jumping time?

that can be any number of things. 1 check or replace the distributor. 2 check your head gasket. 3 if its back firing it doesnt always mean u jumped timing, your exhaust manifold gasket could be bad and you might be getting exhaust fumes in your intake manifold. note- intake manifold and exhaust manifold share 1 gasket
