A 1157LL bulb is the longer life version of the 1157 parking/tail/turn signal combination bulb. The lumen output, wattage, amperage ratings are the same for both. The 1157LL, however, may last up to twice as long in service as the 1157. Typical ratings for a 1157 bulb are 1200/5000 for turn signal/parking-tail. A 1157LL ups this to about 2000/10,000.
A standard 1157 bulb has a 5 to 8 watt dim element and about a 21 watt bright element. An aftermarket 1157 LED bulb is between 3 an 5 watts total.
