Open the dashboard underneath the steering column. If you you see a yellow plug that's not connected to anything you should be able to fit the 1600 instrument cluster without modification and it will work.
Nevermind. I found the solution through another question.
No, you cannot replace a faulty Ford Sport Trac cluster with a cluster from the 2005 Explorer.
check fuse 3 and fuse 13 . not making good contact.
No. A "no bus" displayed and losing all the gauges generally means you have lost a connection to the back of the instrument cluster. Check for loose or corroded connections in the back of the cluster.
No playing an instrument is not considered a sport.
It means sport edition. It is one model level up from an XE. includes running boards, white sport instrument cluster, sunroof, nicer mag wheels, roof racks, rear wind deflector, fog lights etc etc.
no. trombone is a musical instrument. I have not heard of a trombone sport before
The A/C Cluster is the area where the AC controls are located. Usually on the dash board .
The connection in the back of the dash cluster has either come lose or has some corrosion on it. Pull the cluster out and clean the connection and put it back together.AnswerIts simple!!!There is a faulty connection between the gauges panel an a module ( The MIC 4).Remove the panel, clan the electric contacts on the back of the gauges panel and everything will work again.I have done it two times...
