Instrument cluster on 1999 Jeep Cherokee Sport went out no gauges work all fuses seem to be intact and book doesnt list one for instrument cluster is it somewhere else other than the fuse box?

The connection in the back of the dash cluster has either come lose or has some corrosion on it. Pull the cluster out and clean the connection and put it back together.
AnswerIts simple!!!There is a faulty connection between the gauges panel an a module ( The MIC 4).Remove the panel, clan the electric contacts on the back of the gauges panel and everything will work again.I have done it two times...Wiki User
