My 1980 Blazer has a 16 gallon tank, yours should be similar.

The bolt pattern on a 1969-1991 K-5 Blazer is 6 on 5.5" (139.7mm).
It should be a 700R4
Starter solenoid? It is attached to the starter.
NO. The 95 transmission is a electronic / computer controlled transmission. The 1984 does not HAVE the electronics to make the 95 transmission work.
The 1984 700R4 will interchange with a 1988 700R4. The lock-up harness would have to be modified, changed or have a hydraulic lock-up kit installed. An easy fix would be to put the harness and swithes from the 1988 transmission into the 1984 transmission. The 1984 transmission is a weaker design but a working transmission will get you going.
between 5000 and 5200 lbs depending on the engine (diesel or gasoline)
yes it would or it might be the starter
A person can find a fuse box diagram for a 1984 Chevy S10 Blazer in a Chilton's Automotive Repair Manual. This manual usually costs about $25 or less at an automotive parts store.

YES. You may have to change the yoke on the driveshaft. You didn't say what size transmission that is in it now.

where is the coolant sensor on a 1984 s10 blazer 2.8 6 cylender

That is referred to as "back dating" and it is illegal at the federal level.
700r4 NEW ANSWER: That would be the 400 turbo
You need to find out what transmission model you have - either it's a 4L60 (most likely) or a 4L80. 1992 was the last year they used mechanical transmissions - anything newer than 1992 will have the electronically controlled 4L60E. You would want either a 700R4 transmission from 1984 - 1989 or a 4L60 (essentially the same transmission) from 1990 - 1992.
Most likely causes are low transmission fluid level, dirty transmission fluid, or clogged transmission fluid filter.
On 1.9, and 2.0 Engines the Fuel Pump is on the Right Front- on the 2.8, it is located on Left Front.
