You would be back stepping literally generations in hardware, that is very temperamental in its ideal state. Would also require someone who is very well versed in a decade of Saab platforms and a engineering degree,
but can it be done? Yes
Has it been done? I cant imagine so. Going from a 2.3LPT to a 2.0na in a 3500lbs car= waste of time/money/car and did I mention a whole lot of time you don't want to spend with or learning about a saab.
The oil pressure switch on a 1999 Saab 9-5 is located on the lower part of the engine block, typically near the oil filter. To access it, you may need to lift the car for better visibility or reach. It's positioned in a somewhat tight space, so using a socket wrench may be necessary for removal and installation. Always ensure the engine is cool and the vehicle is on a level surface before attempting any work.
No, the engine will not fit. The engine of 1999 is designed to be compatible with the car's other parts, but if you were to put a 1998 engine into a 1999 car it would not work properly.
Well if you look at the 240sx you will see that although the engine size is the same KA24E the engine on the 240sx is SIDEWAYS.
No, it will not work.
99 saab heat dont work whats the problem
No, it will not.
i seriously doubt it. there have been several engine modifications to the the Triton v8s since 1999.
Contact a locksmith or a Saab dealer.
yes it will work.
Simple answer no as engine, ecu and radio alarm are intergrated together and one is a dizzy engine the other a coil pack di engine unless you have the ecu and dice together with engine its not going to work its not a plug and play install ~or` A lot depends on what motor/tranny you started with and what you plan to end with (aka 2.3 NA 5spd to a 2.3turbo Automatic obviously has more involved) But as a short block yes, but you will have to migrate all parts of the intake and probably a couple of the accessory drives from the 2001 block......
Need to know what year the engine is you are wanting use.
