The 1995 Chevrolet S 10 4.3 engine will interchange with the 1998 S 10 pickup truck. The motor mounts and the wiring harnesses are exactly the same.
The fuel systems may be different. The 95 may have the throttle body fuel injection (TBI). The 98 is probably the CSFI (Central Sequential Fuel Injection).

Can you interchange doors from a 98 s10 blazer with a 98 s 10 pick up
No 1995 was a transition year from the 1993-1994 OBD-1 to the 1996 and up OBD2. A 4L60E out of a 1995 has to be in another 1995.
