YES they are the same transmissions as long as the 94 had the 4L80E in it too. 1/2 tons used the 4L60E in them and the 3/4 tons used the 4L80E
Nope, the 94 would be a half circle bell housing and the 97 would be a full circle bolt on bell housing.
There's ONLY 2 that will work. If it is a 1/2 ton then it will be the 4L60E transmission. the 3/4 tons and heavier used the 4L80E in them.
1/2 tons used the 4L60E and the 3/4 tons used the 4L80E transmission. These 2 are the ONLY ONES that will work in that year.
NO... The only ones that will work is a 1996 or 1997 4L60E transmission if it is a 1/2 ton. The 3/4 tons used the 4L80E in them.
Yes it will as long as it is the same transmission. 1/2 ton trucks have the 4L60E Trans. in them. The 3/4 tons have the 4L80E in them.
No, the 1994 has a hydraulic governer. The 1998 has a electrical governer.
You can't. The 4L80E is an electronic computer controlled transmission. The 88 blazer computer will no shift the transmission are even begin to work.
YES as long as the 1998 is a 4-wheel drive transmission it will work with no problems. They make 2 DIFFERENT types of transmissions for that year/years of trucks. Remember THIS. The 1/2 tons used the 4L60E transmission and the 3/4 TONS used the 4L80E in them.
That would be the 4L60E and yes it will work. The 4L80E will NOT work
To make that transmission work. You would have to install a computer and wiring harness and speed sensors. That would be alot of money. The 4L80E is a electronic controlled transmission.
NO it will not WORK... That truck must have the 4L80E transmission put in it DUE to the COMPUTOR That's in the 93 truck.
