it can, but it requires different mounts, axles, ecu, wiring harness, etc. if you buy a full jdm swap it should have everything you need except the mounts and axles.you need special axles because the prelude and civic are very different cars. basically, it can be done, but probably not without a lot of money because a lot of the work would need to be done by a professional
