With an adapter plate from tci yes...
No. Bell housing is totally different. The guts of the trans are the same.

Yes the bell housing should be the same. Yes the bell housing should be the same.
Yes, but ... The 700R4 was found behind the 4.3 and 2.8L motors in the S10s up until 1994. The 2.8L motors and trans had a different bell housing pattern than the 4.3s. The output shaft on the 2wd and the 4x4 were different, so you have to match up which use the donor trans had prior to use in the S10. The 700R4 will swap in to place of a 4L60, but not a 4L60E (the 'e' stands for electronic). When you install the 700R4, replace the TV cable.
The bell housing is not the same on the two but if you are doing a change over from a automatic to a stick and have the trans and bell housing the will will fit where a automatic came out.
The bell housing is the part of the transmission case that bolts to the engine.
yes, depending on what your putting the engine into, you might have to recess the fire wall where the sc is because the tb faces the back of the motor.
You burban should have a 4l60e in it. All this is is a 700r4 with electronics added. If the bell housing is the same it will fit but it won't work due to the electronics.
on bell housing of trans where engine&trans atatch
No.
only if the trans is from an olds, Buick or Pontiac engine. The bell housing bolt pattern from these engines is different from a chev block
