i have a 90 model Ford Ranger and i put a 97 model bed on it.i have no idea if this answers your question...if the bed bolts on through the top with the star head.your good.you shouldn't have any problems.good luck

Also, most parts from Broncos of the same year/generation, Explorers from the same year/generations and B series Mazda parts will work for your Ranger. They know all about Rangers/Broncos/Explorers/Mazdas and you'll find a plethora of information about your truck there.
