No, the chevelle isn't as wide as the impala, you would have to get a rear end from a full sized Pontiac or olds.
No sir 1962 doors have different body lines then a 64. 62 bel air or 62 biscayne doors will fit but with biscayne doors you will have to drill holes for the moldings
No, this would not be a direct bolt in.
Yes. 91-96 impala, roadmaster, caprice, and fleetwood rear end are all the same and will fit with no modifications.
Since they're basically the same platform, it should fit without much problem.
If you cut the housing down to fit the chevelle it will work but to just take and try to put it under the chevelle it's too long.
yea, just install adjustable lower control arms and center the rear end- fronts will clear
Some things you just have to MEASURE when you do CUSTOM fabrication. MEASURE it on both trucks. spring to spring, hanger to hanger.
The doors are not the same.
The 1993 to 1997 models rear end will fit.
will a 1988 rear end fit under a 1965 chevy truck
Yes it will. Any rear end from 1993 to 2002 will fit. All the parts are interchangable from 1993 to 2002. In 1998 the front end was changed a little but the rear end stayed the same.
