im not familer much with the older Chevy trucks, im assuming it has a 350 in it and that's a small block a 454 is a bigblock, they have different transmission mounts so you would have to get new trans missin and after thay you need to determine if you need a new driveshaft or you can sometimes cut the one you have
YES A 454 WILL FIT WITHOUT MODIFICATIONS,YOU WILL NEED A BIGGER RADIATOR
There is such a thing as a 454 truck engine, also 454 passenger car engine.
1983-1987 454 out of a light duty truck
yes
yes there is.
Yes- possible flexplate chage
Yes it will. But you will need to know if the 454 requires a flywheel that is either internal or external balanced.
You can't... There's not enough steel in the cylinders to bore it that far. If you want a 454, you need to by a big block 454 Chevy engine.
Chevy actually made a C1500 with a 454 stock in the 90's, so yes.
The 454 it would have better acceleration
Many. 348 would be a small block, whereas the 454 is a big block.

I think the truck block has taller deck height but if rare I think can be machined to fit. Talk to engine builder before you buy.
