It sure can.
Oxygen Sensor. Or the Knock Sensor. Or you could check the plugs for faults.
Take a look at to oxygen sensor. A dead sensor can cause your engine to surge and miss. If you live in the north were the fuel is oxygenated it happens more often. Something about O2 sensors being killed by oxygenated fuel.
it is in the manual says when this happens it is 02 sensor and if it is flashing you have a miss in your engine which can cause damage.
there are 2 oxygen sensors one on the manifold of the engine and one by the catalitic converter....the transmission sensor is by the bolt you pull out of the transmission to check the fluid level you cant miss it....it has wires coming out of it
it is located on the front of the engine behind the fan at the lower part of the engine i just had one replaced it is long and round with one wire on it you can miss it
Try the oxygen sensor and the coolant temperature sensor.
No. If the sensor goes bad the ECU will use default values and turn on the 'check engine' light. It should still run smooth, but will use more gasoline.
Yea cause to burn More fuel. In some cases may cause slight miss fire to. And slight to Moderate loss in power
A faulty crank sensor would make the engine not run.
Tough question, untill you find out whats causing the miss to start with.Could be 1 of these problems making it miss. ( Bad spark plug, plug wire, Bad distributor cap, Injector problem, emission sensor shorted are grounded- O2 sensor / oxygen sensor, Map sensor, vacuum leak, Low engine compression / burnt Valve. ect....
Yes.
No it will not cause an engine miss.
