Will a bad tire on 24 inch rims cause your truck to shake?
Yes it sure will. Also check the wheel to see if it is bent.
Can you replace 20 inch rims on a dodge truck with smaller rims and tires so chains can be fitted for rough weather?
The 2002 on up truck has had a 17 inch tire and wheel option.
16 inch rims

I've never done it but I have talked to people that have done it with bigger tires and rim sizes 15 inch tires only fit on 15 inch rims. You can put 15 inch rims on a truck that came with 16 inch rims if they are the same bolt pattern.
No it will not.

Yes, Dodge comes oem with 17" and 20". I have owned both of these. If putting on bigger tires or lift with either of these make sure proper offset.
Depends on the diameter of your brakes both front and rear. They have to fit inside the wheel. I would have to say no if the truck came with 15" wheels from the manufacturer.
No way, Car and truck wheel bolt patterens are different.
Will putting the 20 inch rims of a Performance Edition Sierra on to a regular crew cab SLE fit onto the truck Will the tires hit the inside Will the truck be very tall?
It all depends on how tall the tire is, what's the rims backspacing and the width of the tire and rims. Tire and wheel shops can tell you your limits.
It would not affect anything. the size does not mater.
Most rim sizes on chevys are 16 inch. However, 15 inch rims were common on older trucks and could go as large 22 inch.
No thay will not. Car and truck wheels will not interchange.
No, ford has a bigger bolt pattern
The wheel balance was not done properly, or there may be a bad tire.
brakes are to big to fit 15 inch rims
the front tires will rub in corners... I'm trying to find the minimum lift I need that will look right now. I'm in the same boat with same truck

It could be your rims are bent. Or it could be the rotors are warped
Will chevy rims fit a nissan
It will depend on which rims will fit your car. Having 16 or 17 inch rims will have a significant jump in the price of your tires.
Why would you want to put 20 inch rims on an Altima? I can tell you that 18 inch rims worked.
22' Rims will not fit on any Ford Explorer. The truck must be raised about an inch and a-half to fit 22's. After you get the rims, you have to also check tire sizes that will fit on your truck and make sure the tire won't rub on the wheel-well. I would play it safe and go with 19's or 20's.
You might choose 16 inch rims over 17 inch rims because the cost would be lower with the smaller rim size. The cost of tires would also be less.
not without a lift kit but if determined you can make any thing fit
yep some can dependin on the size, most trailers are 14 15 inch the bolt pattern matters
Do you need to adjust the suspension is you was to put twenty inch rims on an eighty-seven Chevy caprice?
yes but impractial try a fullsize truck. i have an 88 caprice with 22 i have four inch srings
That would be a 1 inch difference. 16 inch is shorter then a 17 inch rim.
22 inch rims will fit on a 97 Buick Park Avenue , but they will rub. 20 inch rims would be a better option if you don't your rims to rub.
No. You can not put 16 inch tires on 15 inch rims.
There are various websites that offer cheap truck rims online. One can find cheap truck rims online at websites such as Discount Tire Direct Rims and Discounted Wheel Warehouse.
1994 to 2001
18-inch rims will fit on a Geo Prizm. The other options available are 16, 17, 20 and 22 inch rims and wheels.Ê
no 1999 rims should be 170mm bolt pattern the older trucks had 6 1/2 in bolt pattern
yes, but you need 22x7.5 in the in the front with 1 inch adapter to clear the struts yes, but you need 22x7.5 in the front with1 inch adapter to clear the struts. And 22x8.5 in the rear with 30-40+ offset. This will cause both rims to tuck at the same distance.
Will 20 inch rims cause wear on my wheel bearings. I have a set of 20 inch rims on my 09 Nissan altima right now ive heard a lot of people say this may cause me to change my wheel bearings a lot.True?
The added weight and the different offset does change the loads on the bearings, which can increase wear.
Most likely it has unbalanced or bad tire(s). Bent wheel rims also can be the cause.
as long as the rims will clear the brake rotors i wouldn't see why u couldn't
You wont have to replace the brakes, as far as the gearing im not so sure. I had a set of 22 inch rims on my truck and no problems with gearing or brakes, it all worked fine. But not sure about gearing in the long run. I had my rims on for a year with no problems
Will they fit
