The chances are slim because the letter will be sent to the zip code area first. When the post office cannot find the address in that zip code, they will simply send it back instead of trying to check all of the other zip codes for that address.
no it will not because different cities and different post codes also have the same street names as other cities and post codes, so if the city matches the post code, of the wrong destination it will arrive at the "correct destination" according to the postal company, but not where you want it to go.
I don't know if I wrote my return address correctly...
For example if I wrote 776-1 street name, instead of 1-766 street name or 776 street name apt.#1
Would it make any difference? I have the right address, city, province, and postal code, it's just that people write things differently and I'm worried that I may not get a letter that I have been expecting.
Thanks :)
I just did that. I sent it to 94133 instead of 94132. I called the post office of 94133 and told him about the box. The guy told me that they did not have any personnel to correct addresses anymore. He added that the box will be sent back to me after a couple weeks of going around.
Good Luck
Mail is read and sorted electronically, so it will be sent to the post office in the zip code it bears. From there if the address is recognized by a postal worker, it might be delivered.
Yes it should arrive in the same area( the zip code's area) usually street
normally but the worst they can do is send it back to you
Yes, USPS follows zip code, and then street address from that zip code when it arrives.

Very unlikely,Some streets are repeated over different states you can even find one street name in one city that is spelled the exact same way in the next city.
Depending on where the letter is going, it may arrive on Monday. If you are sending a letter within your town or a neighboring town that shares the same P&DC, then it will probably arrive at its destination on Monday. If it is going to a town served by another P&DC, it will probably arrive Tuesday or Wednesday.
It depends on how you send it. If it is sent express, then it should arrive at its destination in 1-2 days. If it is sent standard, it should arrive in 4-5 days.
Mail is classified by the time it takes it to arrive to its destination. All mail starts with First Class, if a letter needs to arrive sooner Priority or Overnight classifications are used.
It is the sender of a letter or package's address. It is used just in case the letter or package that is sent does not reach it's destination it can be sent back to the sender.
Most letters arrive within 3 days if it is mailed to a destination in the same state.
it gets binned
Only if its destination is in your town, and it's a small town, or if you ship it airmail same-day delivery.
Because of a mistake in its address, your letter did not arrive until january 3.
A letter by regular mail normally takes about 2 business days to get to it's destination as long as you mail it before the mail is collected for that day
The number of stamps which must be used to mail a letter from the US to Barbados varies based on the weight and size of the letter. An average letter will require 5 stamps to arrive at its destination based on 2013 postage rates.
