No, probably not, ask your vet. When the kittens are eight or ten weeks old, the mother will have weaned them. If they are not weaned in time the mother may not have enough milk for all of them so you either need to find a substitute mom or ask the vet for some formula.

Is there any danger that a cats pregnant immediately after having kittens?

Yes it is possible for a cat to become pregnant again just after it has kittens. the person I got my cats off the mother got pregnant again with in about a week so yes it is possible. However, this causes a great strain on the mother as she will not have time to properly recuperate from her last litter. This could cause potential danger to the mother and the next litter of kittens.

When do you get female cat fixed after first litter?

As soon as the kittens are weaned; preferably fairly shortly after so she doesn't get pregnant again. The mother cat's ovaries produce hormones that are essential for milk production; once the kittens no longer require milk, the mother cat can be spayed.

Does mother cats milk come back after drying up if the kittens nurse again?

yes it does

How could you get the mother cat to move her kittens from a concealed place?

You wouldn't. Normally a mother cat would move her kittens to another place if they are disturbed by someone or another animal, but once the kittens are weaned, they will leave that place, and the mother will mate again (unless spayed).

Cat spade after kittens?

As soon as your kittens are pretty well weened and her milk is drying up, you need to get her spaded because she will then go in heat again and you will have another litter! I think my kittens where like 8-9 weeks old when I got the mother spaded and the vet said she was getting ready to come in heat again.

Can cats with kittens be in heat?

This usually depends on how old the kittens are and the individual mother cat. Usually a female cat will come back into season after her current kittens are weaned. However, some cats' cycles can start again when her kittens are still very young, and some will not come into heat again for many months after the kittens are weaned.

Do cats chase away there first litter of kittens when they give birth again?

Cats dont chase away their kittens until the kittens are atleast 1 year old. In some cases this may change but it is most common at the ages for the young cat to leave their mothers house.

After just having a litter of kittens can male cat mate and give her more kittens?

No you have to wait until she comes back into heat, but i advise you DO NOT GET YOUR CAT PREGNANT AGAIN cats are over populated and abused almost 60% of the time you give them away...if you know some particular people who want kittens then i guess you can get your cat prego again but...i wouldn't advise it.....k byee :]]

Do you have to do anything cats just had four kittens?

Keep an eye on the mother to make sure she's fine - no excessive bleeding, appears to be done having kittens, nothing stuck and no more straining. Otherwise let her bond with her kittens for a few hours and provide clean cool water and kitten kibble for her to drink and eat. Tomorrow you should start gently handling the kittens and her to get everyone used to be played with (again, in the case of the mother).

How soon after a litter can a cat become pregnant?

Within 6 weeks.Another AnswerNormally, a Queen comes into heat every two or three weeks, and once she has been mated and had kittens, the heat cycle often starts again as soon as the kittens are weaned. Sometimes, a female cat can become fertile again as soon as the kittens are born. However, this is far from recommended as letting a cat become pregnant constantly without "resting" her. Letting a cat become pregnant again so soon takes a huge toll on her health and overall quality of life, which then in turn puts any offspring at risk. Unless you are an experienced breeder then the best option is to not even consider having any litters, and get the cat neutered instead.Additionally, there are so many cats and kittens who need homes, it's not a good idea to bring even more into the world, where finding new homes for the kittens is not guaranteed.
