yes yes
No difference in the engine. It is all in the trans and the rearend
Yes it will.
my money says the 350 olds rocket seeins how there was never a 357 chevy.
If it's for a 305 it's a Chevy and will interchange with a 350. If it's an Olds, it won't.
No. blocks are not the same.
No, a 350 Olds motor is not the same as a Chevy 350 motor. The Oldsmobile 350 engine is a different design and has distinct specifications compared to the Chevrolet 350 engine. While both are V8 engines and were popular in their respective brands, they are manufactured by different divisions of General Motors and have different performance characteristics.
Nope.....unless you possibly have a universal trans. The only thing that will bolt to a Chevy trans is a Chevy. The Buick, Olds, Pontiac and Cadillac share the same pattern with each other.

Get the motor mounts, trans mounts, transmission, radiator from a 1976 Malibu or Monte Carlo and swap them in.
The original trans will be fine. The parts you need off your old motor is the carburetor and the fly wheel. If the new(er) motor happens to have EFI, don't use it. Just to make things much simplified. yes the 350 will bolt right in but i don't know about the tranny that's already in it you might have to get the Chevy 350 trans for the tranny to match motor but motor will fit
