If that pickup used a 4L60E transmission (as would be typical for GM pickups with either a V6 or small block V8), yes.
trans or oil? oil is in front left. i dont think the 98 blazer has a trans dipstick. Instead, there is a bolt on the side of the trans.
YES they are the same.
If they are the same engine, it's highly likely the trans will be the same .
I'm sure it will, But you need to measure both of them first.
Mercon works fine.
Not easily. You have two completely different fuel systems.
no, 1998 is a year of its own, you will need a 98 trans
1996 -1998 only
Yes it will as long as the 98 trans is not out of a 4x4. SAMETHING
The answer depends on3 factors. Automatic or manual, 4 cylinder or 6 cylinder, and 2 or 4 wheel drive. If both are 6 cylinder and automatic and two wheel drive, then the answer is yes. The blazer was only available with a 6 cylinder motor. The truck could be equipped with either.
I would think so, a stock transmission for the 1998 S-10 is the New Venture 1500.
