Removing a kitten from it's mother at a younger age will tend to give you a more neurotic cat, with a greater potential for negative behaviour that will be very difficult to correct. Allowing the kitten to complete it's emotional growth with the mother will give a kitten the best chance to grow to be a well behaved cat who can bond well with it's owner. A kitten that is removed younger will tend to be more dependant and needy. If you can't meet these needs (guessing you are not going to devote your life 24/7 to making sure your cat feels secure) it will likely withdraw from you some what, decreasing the bond you seek.
Some cats do not "fit" with some people, the same way not everyone you meet is going to be a close friend. Adopting an adult cat at a shelter may give you the opportunity to find a cat that "fits" with you as it's personality will be more developed
Kittens are cuddly with most people so there is little chance to see if there is a real chemistry. An adult cat can bond a deeply with you as a kitten could, but that depends on the cat and on your ability to be part of that bond. The same issues that might keep you from having a good bond with a kitten may keep you form having a good bond with the adult.
My guess is that for you a older kitten who is feeling solid in it's world and is ready to leave mom and explore the world would be your best bet to have a deep bond.
You need to be consistent and present with your cat. By present I mean when you play or spend time with your cat you need to have 100% of your focus on doing that. Not talking on the phone or other things that take your energy away from your cat.
Hope this helps.
you can play with your kitten whenever it is not nursing ( if it still does). anytime else will be a great time to bond with your kitten and they are very playful little beasts and love to be active! :D
It's better to get a young cat, although if you are a kid, you would probaly want a kitten, they are wild, and playful. An older cat would be suitable for an older person, they are more relaxed, and calm. If you get a kitten or a young cat, they bond to you, and are more closer to you when they get older.
I'd say it's probably better to get them both at the same time. That way they can bond and grow together. If you get one before the other chances are the first pet will get jealous of the attention that the new pet is receiving.
"The Kitten" by Richard Wright is about a young boy who finds a wounded kitten and brings it home against his father's wishes. The boy cares for the kitten secretly until his father discovers it and allows him to keep it, teaching the boy about love and compassion. It highlights themes of empathy and the bond between humans and animals.
2 weeks Actually chimpanzee children suckle for approximately 4-5 years, but will occasionally be weaned a little younger if their mother has another baby. But the bond with their family will last their entire life.

Make sure the hamster is at least three weeks old. If it is, it's fine to buy it. He'll bond with you better when you meet at a young age.
you make a closer bont withb then! yoi wil b closseer
It really depends on both their personalities. I am inclined to say yes though. Play it by ear :)
Not really. Cats tend to bond more closely with one person in the household, but there is nothing to suggest that cats bond "better" with women. Cats can bond just as closely with men as they can with women, it just depends on the individual cat.
It should only take a week. The more you hold your new pet, the better. This will get you aquainted with it and it with you. Make sure you feed it by hand when you hold it, this will form a bond between you.
Because DC has proved he is everything Bond needs to be and is the way better actor. Hugh is too effeminate to be Bond. DC definitely is the better deal.
