Does the key for the 2000 Daewoo leganza have a transponder?
The Daewoo had NO transponder on any of their vehicles from 1999-2002. Incorrect. The Daewoo Leganza had a transponder option in 2001+, as did the Lanos. The Nubria had a transponder option in 2000+.

If you have a spare key a good locksmith should be able to copy and programme the chip for you If you don't have a spare the main dealer will be able to order keys for you.
Where can you find a brand new 2000 leganza daewoo engine?
I spent endless hours researching the same question. Unfortunately there is no where you can buy a "new" engine. I had to buy a used engine with a warranty. It was fine. My wife was driving her Daewoo when the timing belt tensioner broke and bent the valves. I was going to rebuild the engine but like all Daewoo parts they are expensive. It was cheaper to buy a used engine and do the swap. Do a search for used Daewoo engines. Or go under findapart.com. I used Athens Auto Recyclers from Alabama. Engines I found were from 750-1500 dollars. They included shipping, but that was because I lived in Alabama, there is an abundance of used dealers in the U.S. especially in Arizona. GM mad the motors but since Daewoo went bankrupt GM discontinued any parts that were available. Daewoo's have a short shelf life. 80,000-100,000 miles and then the fun starts to occurr........

How do you change the transmission filter on a 2002 Daewoo leganza?
Leganzas do not have transmission filter. Check it out on any auto parts filter application catalog.
On my Daewoo Leganza I get fast idling when in park and it smells like something is burning. Does any know what is happening?
Perhaps throttle plate is stuck? I have a Could 1997 Daewoo Leganza, every now and then the car goes into high revs each time I start it up, what I do is unhook the battery over night and this works, seems to reset some sort of sensor.

What would cause a 2001 Daewoo Leganza to cut off while driving without any noises?
I cannot answer your question but my son had the exact same thing happen to him yesterday. He has a 2000 Leganza. He pulled over and restarted it, no problem but now it won't start at all this morning. Battery shows fully charged but the car is not getting any power for some reason. Not sure if the two problems are connect. Very curious to see if anyone has an answer.
2000 Daewoo Leganza just had the oil changed about 2 weeks ago and myoil light is flickering only when you seem to be in park or at a stop light any ideas?
there should be a reset button in the clove box but if there is not one put your key to acc and then push your adometer until you see the light does not flicker any more
Where is the fuel filter on a 2000 Daewoo Leganza how do you remove it and where can you find a replacement?
On the 1999 Daewooo Laganza the fuel filter is on the fire wall and is held on with clips or a clamp. Just follow the fuel line from the injector block and you will see it. The replacement should be available at any parts store, if not ask the clerk for help. NAPA has most after market parts??
