No. There is no evidence that cracking your knuckles or fingers will lead to any adverse consequence (not even Arthritis).
No. It Makes your knuckles swell up and never goes away. :\ So stop cracking your knuckles!!
I'm thinking the same thing...... I keep cracking my knuckles and i have realized that my flexibility in my fingers is going and i'm finding it hard to keep up with the faster riffs(not finding them hard but becoming tired more easy), my solo playing is also effected as i cant play scales at an even speed anymore. It seems worrying and i know you can lose habits, but for me if i don't crack my fingers then they become stiff and it feels a lot better when cracked, that is the main reason i do it.
Well, yes. It can loosen up your joints and make things easier to do.
Knuckles "crack" because gas builds up in the joint and is released when you apply pressure to it. So really cracking is not a correct term. Release of gas is.
Actually, I believe I had been told that the cracking sound you hear when you bend your fingers/knuckles in such a way, is actually the sound of bubbles of gas between your joints popping. This always seemed logical to me, because in biology you learn about the different types of gases and acids in the body that build up in certain areas due to movement or lack of movement. The sound you hear when cracking knuckles is the sound of gas being released in the joints as the presume on them is relieved.
Cracking your knuckles is just releasing the nitrogen in between your joints. Cracking your knuckles can cause you to crack them more often. Your knuckles may become larger from cracking them.
There are several parts that make up a human hand, here are the most common, fingers, knuckles, thumb, palm, finger nails.
Tiny bubbles of gas, which is made of nitrgen and oxigen build up in the joints. It is these you hear popping to make the cracking sound.
No actually! An experiment was done and when you crack your knuckles an explosion happens (Now don't get me wrong. Your knuckles are not blowing up.) and that is what causes the cracking sound. Despite the "explosion" the knuckle remains intact and unharmed.
I don't know much, but it's probably the joint from your leg to your toe. It does the same thing as knuckles except they 'crackle' automatically.
Well you rub the clit and your Gspot is two knuckles in and up so do the come hither motion with your fingers ^.^
as a very quick answer, no there is no evidence to suggest this and it is likely a tale mad up by mothers wanting to frighten their children into giving up an admittedly annoying habit
