had this problem myself with the power window ghost, the car will start but the windows and the radio would not operate due to a bad ground in the fuse box
and corroded wires/plate in the "trunk line" which is located under the carpet next to the kick plate of the rocker panel (about 8'' in front of emergency brake pedal) on my 97 Bonneville SE
yes the 7.3 DI power stroke has a Crank sensor and a Cam sensor.
crank shaft posetion sensor
where is the crank sensor located on a 6.0l ford power stroke diesel
A faulty crank sensor would cause none of the plugs and injectors to work. Without an input signal from the crank sensor the brain will not know how to time it's signals. Most are designed not to attempt to function without the sensors signal.
Check for power to the sensor. check for power and ground to the Ignition coil. If the crank sensor is adjustable, make sure that it is set to the proper gap.
the crank sensor "tells" the computer what piston is at the "power stroke" and what coil to fire also the next cylinder that is going to need fuel.
remove power steering puimp remove power steering puimp this is were cam sensor is!! under pump.
The PCM (engine computer) provides the power.
Very few if any, part of the z28 package was the power windows.
If it's a true z34 90-94 there is no window crank they ALL had power windows.....
in the front of the motor next to the pullys
You need to remove the window hand crank with a window hand crank removal tool.
