It shouldn't, but remember diesel oil is much thicker than regular oil and it will take longer to get into the rest of the engine. I used it once on a Ford 302 for several months and it didn't hurt but the rear seal was shot out and leaked like a sive. I don't know what it will do to another make of engine.
Oil is just as important to a diesel engine as it is to a petrol engine
No is the simple answer... may help clean out your engine because of the detergent found in diesel oil ..just put the right oil in on your next service and change filter
Yes, never put oil formulated for a diesel in a gasoline engine.
No do not try that.
No it cannot. Petrol and Diesel are different.
"Diesel oil" or "Heavy oil" is another term for diesel fuel. Not to be confused with "engine oil for a diesel engine" which means lubricating oil specially formulated for use in diesel rather than petrol engines.
No
No you can not use gas engine oil in diesel engine oil because processing of diesel engine is different from gas engine oil. If you use this then it damage your vehicles.
yes it can, mixed with petrol. 5litres diesel to .5l of petrol. mixed it up and ur good to go.
Yes as it does not have the lubrication of diesel. Also may damage fuel filter. Don't drive. Get quotes to clean out tank, filters etc but if you want to risk it and tank is not full you can fill with diesel and then run engine to use petrol/diesel mix. Get tank emptied by mechanic for safety. Change filters soon afterwards .
Diesel has a much higher viscosity than petrol (gasoline). It is less refined and contains more oil to lubricate and cool the combustion chamber in a diesel engine.
Because , petrol is ignited before or on reaching the dead center at low temparature. But diesel burns at high temp also that's why petrol is not sufficient to diesel engines.
