You mean "motor oil for diesel engines," rather than "diesel oil the fuel." And the answer is simple: No. It will not. All the popular and not-so-popular brands of diesel engine oil sold in the US carry two ratings: a "diesel engine rating" and a "gasoline engine rating." They do this because most trucking companies also own some gasoline engine vehicles, like pickup trucks for driving to the truck dealership on parts runs, and an oil rated for both gas and diesel engines allows them to put the same oil in all their vehicles.

Will it hurt the motor if you drive it with worn rings?

If you have worn rings, the motor is already hurt. If the bearings are as bad as the rings, catastrophic failure is right around the corner.

Your Holden rodeo turbo diesel is using oil you had new rings and a new turbo but still uses oil would it be the valve stem seals?

If a Holden Rodeo Turbo Diesel is using oil and new rings and a new turbo have been put in, it could be that the valves are leaking at the seals. Place a clean piece of cardboard under the vehicle overnight to see if it is leaking from the motor.

How many Slip rings in synchronous motor?

If the synchronous motor is single phase then there are two slip rings & if this motor is three phase so the slip rings are three in number. Correction; I have never seen a single phase synchronous motor. It would cost more that it was worth. A synchronous motor has a separately excited field. If the excitation comes from a stationary DC source it has 2 slip (collector) rings. A brushless induction motor has no slip rings because the exciter armature rotates and so do the rectifiers. A permanent magnet motor, used with variable frequency drives, is another type of synchronous motor that has no slip rings. A three phase motor with 3 slip rings is a Wound Rotor motor. Wound rotor motors are variable speed motors that were used for such applications as bridges and cranes before variable speed drives.

What happens when liner is broken in a diesel engine?

depending on if the engine has been ran for long after the liner broke, it can normally be replaced, depending on the damage you may need new piston, valves piston rings etc

Is diesel knock damaging?

The diesel knock is damaging because it will have a tremendous force on the main bearings and will cause excessive wear of the piston rings.

What are the inherent problems with Nissan 2.5L engine?

excessive oil consumption, piston rings do not settle correctly, the 1st catalytic converter which is located in the exhaust manifold is known to heat up and crumble and get sucked into the motor causing damage to the cylinder walls. The butterfly screws in the intake are also known to come loose and get sucked into the motor causing piston/cylinder damage.
