Iam a type 1 diabetic Have been for 15 years. Water will help in lowering your blood sugars but if they are higher they are not enough to do the job alone. Insulen (if type 1) and exercise are best. Also cinnamon is sometimes used for regulating blood sugars although it is more effictive in type 2 diabetics
Just yesterday I was speaking with a dietican about my diet. Veggies, fats (such as butter) cheese and proteins are all highly unlikely to raise a blood sugar in fact on diet charts created for diabetics they are called freebies, you can eat as much as you like without worring about those foods raising blood sugars. Protiens are something you have to be careful with because they are harsh on your liver and kidneys.
I would say drinking plenty of water was the most important factor in helping me achieve a 6 month goal for better health. I'm 42 y/o male, non-smoker, non-drinker. 6' tall, small to medium size frame. I have been non-active physically since high school. I went from 145 lbs to 225 lbs in 24 years. My BP 6 months ago was 145/91, and total cholesterol 235. In 5 months, I created a simple routine: 96oz water/day, 1900 calories/day, exercise 2.5hrs/week on treadmill. Results? I lost 55 pounds, have average BP of 108/65, and have a total cholesterol of 173. Water did a couple things in my opinion: suppressed hunger, and allowed me to burn excess fat much more efficiently. Side benefits: alergies to CATS has vanished, asthme is gone, and head-aches are no more. Did water do all of that? It was predicted in the book "your body's many cries for water" and I am a living example of the effectiveness of it. Google "water cure 2" and read about the value of being properly hydrated. Try the recommendations in the book, and enjoy a better quality of life within a short period of time. You can also find the book at Amazon.com or at your local library too. Enjoy!
Drinking water can help lower blood sugar by flushing out the sugar in your digestive tract, at least by a small amount. It is recommended to drink a lot of water any way, for overall health and to help detoxify your body.
Blood sugar can be reduced by exercising, drinking plenty of water to flush out your system and eating healthily. Some things to include in your diet to reduce blood sugar levels are peanut butter, almonds and unsweetened green tea.

sugar.
The dissolution of sugar into water doesn't take away the sugar content at all nor does it increase the amount of blood sugar in the body as opposed to plain sugar. Blood sugar is effected by sugar and the addition of water doesn't have anything to do with it.
Plenty of exercise, and drinking plenty of water - say, 100 ounces per day.
depending if you have Diabetes or not, it shouldn't effect it that much, even if you do have sensitivities to sugar. If your blood sugar is going to high, try drinking allot of water and exercising. Sounds crazy, yeah, but it works.
One way to lower your blood sugar is to do exercise. Another way is to drink between 17 and 35 ounces a day of water to prevent dehydration.
