Maybe the female doesn't like that male cat or just doesn't want to mate. That is my opinion so!

Should I have my 1 year old cat neutered?

Yes. Male cats that are not neutered will spray and may run off for days looking for mates. It will also cut down on unspayed female cats having kittens.

Your calico cat wants to be outside now but you want her to be an indoor cat Are you being mean by not letting her out?

Yeah it's cruel, especially if the cat was always outside before this. Get him neutered if you're afraid he will run away

What is a neutered jackass called?

An intact male ass (donkey or burro) is called a jack or jackass.Any neutered male equine (horse, mule, donkey) is called a 'gelding'.According to ruralheritage.com some people also refer to a neutered male as a 'John' and:'... Should male pups be neutered?

Unless you plan to breed them, that's a good idea. There are lots of pets in shelters for those who wants one. A neutered dog is less likely to run away, will live longer, and won't show the dominance issues when he reaches maturity that an intact dog might develop.

How do you make your cat an indoor cat?

it very simple never let it out.if it is a cat you have taken in from the out doors you want to litter train it, then teach it to stay away from doors so it wont run out, VERY IMPORTANT spay or neuter it , a inspired or neutered cat is a traveler, they will go miles to breed, also be sure to keep your cat mentally engaged it will be less interested in the out doors.

How do you send yourself a cat for someones birthday and hide it?

First you be an employee in the cat shop (adoption center, pet shop, ETC.) Then you pick yourself a cat you like. Check the whole thing out and then say to the manager "I Quit!" and then run off with the cat. Of course you have to pay first when you run off. Unless you are not old enough.

What is better to have a boy cat or girl cat?

We started with a male cat and added a female cat. They get along famously. We then added two more males cats, and they all seem to get along very well. In fact, the two young males play all day long. The only downside to having multiple males, from what we've seen, is that the oldest male will sometimes play rough with the younger males in a show of domination. Answer Cats, like people, all have different personalities that have nothing to do with being male or female. I would suggest going to the humane society or your local cat rescue group. Most rescue groups "socialize" their cats meaning they introduce their rescues to other cats as soon as they can to get them used to having "friends". All new cats will have an adjustment period when introduced to your current pet.

Can kittens run and play after getting neutered?

My kitten is 5 months old and was neutered in January. If anything he has way too much play in him. We are looking forward to when he settles down.

Will a female cat attack the male when she gose into labor?

Yes, though it depends on the animal. The mothers will typically run off the male as they will kill the kittens. This behavior is common, the males will kill the young because of territory and some people think that it is due to the fact that it will bring the female back into heat but I cannot tell you if that is true or not.
