If you are talking about the fresh mozzarella that is stored in liquid, you should not allow it to be at room temperature except for the time it takes to get from the store to the home fridge and for preparation and serving time. It is highly perishable.

Meat is often good for a while as long as you sterilize it by bringing it to a boil, but unrefrigerated, unless it was opened within the last two weeks, you probably can't save it. I wouldn't try it if you still have it.

Swiss cheese is a very healthy but fattening product it takes about 4 weeks to spoil and if kept in the right conditions it will spoil in about 6 weeks. As the number one dairy product it has a supplement in it that keeps it fresh longer because it has to be shipped and sold around the world. So dont worry your cheese is still good, and also it starts to smell before it spoils.
