Well just a guess but resetting the battery also resets the computer and I 'm thinking it may have returned your body control module to it's factory setting.
There is no such thing as resetting the pick-up module
There is no need for resetting the module
this link will give u your answer http://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/647209-4x4-control-module-4x4-flash-problem-3.html
No, resetting the light will not fix the cause of the problem.
behind the glove box
Because resetting it did not fix the problem. Do parts of it work and not others. what happens when you turn it on
IF the 4x4 module is the problem then a code should be set. Take it to somebody that has a scan tool and that will identify if it is a fuse, the actual switch, the module or solenoid.
The 4x4 control module is located behind the kick panel in the passenger side floor board. The module simply unplugs and you plug the new one in.
I'm not a mechanic / technician but I believe that the 4x4 Control Trac system on a 1995 Ford Explorer does not have a separate control module I believe the 4x4 system is controlled by the GEM ( Generic Electronic Module ) and that it is located in the center stack of the dash near the radio
speedometer has no wiring,it is an electronic module, needs replacement- check e-bay,there are many available there
Not much you can do to fix an ABS module. Replace it with a new one.
