well.....very slowly. I am a varsity cross country runner. I started training when i had a 7:50 mile. I ran 10 miles a week, but every month i added 10 more miles to my week. I have trained now for 1 year, and i maintain my mileage at 50 miles per week. My mile time is now 4:53. Every other day, run intervals. This means running at a normal pace for one minute, then going fast for 2 minutes, then jog 1 minute, repeat this process till you finish your mileage that day. Or you can simply run a ppm instead, which means just run fast for like 3-5 miles. You will greatly improve, but consistency is important. Run everyday. You may take one day break out of the week. on your cooldown days, run at a semi fast pace. If you run too slow, they are junk miles. to get faster, push through the pain, feel the burn. The faster you go, the less it hurts. Make sure you have good form, and hydrate atleast 3 hours before you run. If you do this, you wont get one cramp, though i do recommend running at 5 or 6 am. It is literally twice easier.
Yes, it will make you run half a mile a lot faster. If you can do 3 miles then you can run a half mile much faster than before.
For an elite male, 4:00 or faster; For an elite woman 4:30 or faster.
Yes, because running gets your heart beet going faster than walking, causing it to burn more calories. And aslo it is faster and better for you health. ----
1 mile = 1.609 km For everyday purposes 5 miles = 8 kilometers
run at the same pace the whole way dont walk then sprint listen to a song when you are running
Jeg's , has parts for the Briggs & straton engine from mild to stroker/ alcohol running Billet engines. They are the motors used in Jr. Dragsters. Some are faster than a Porsche 911 turbo in the 1/8 mile.
Running the Endless Mile was created in 1986.
I think it is the same....
One mile per minute is faster.
For most people, about 10:00 per mile. Anything faster than that is running, rather than jogging. That having been said, Olympic marathonners "jog" at 5:30/mile (vs. their running speed of faster than 5:00/mile). That's the ultimate limit, I'd say.
The average mile time for a 13-year-old girl can vary, but generally falls between 8 to 10 minutes. It is important to focus on personal improvement and not compare oneself to arbitrary standards. Regular training and gradual progression can help improve running times.
