It will "work" but is never a good idea. Stop leak not only stops external leaks, but also plugs small internal passages in engines and radiators, which can lead to overheating.
I installed a radiator in my wifes 2000 Dodge Stratus. What I done was buy a Hayes repair manuel. The air conditioning condensor is attached to the radiator . It was not a easy job for me but if you got smaller hands than me it mite not be so bad.
It is on the overflow bottle.
The "radiator" cap is located on the coolant reservoir.
Look on the bottom or rear of radiator
the water overflow tank
open the drain at the bottom of the radiator and remove cap
Reservoir tank feeds the radiator. It's a Dodge thing.
The thermostat is under the housing where the upper radiator hose attaches to the engine on a 2.4 liter Dodge Stratus.
The thermostat on a 2.5 L Dodge Stratus is located under the housing where the lower radiator hose attaches to the engine.
Replace the plug.
A pair of pliers.
