No, they are different.
is there a complete kit for a 4L60E transmission to work right in a non computer car? l put a new 355ci crate engine with a carburetor in my 94' silverado with a 4L60E transmission but now the transmission is working properly, it only has drive & reverse no 1st or over drive is there a electrical kit that l can need to plug that transmission into & where can l purchase it?
Yes, they both use the 4L60E transmission. However, it won't work if you're putting a transmission from a 2WD vehicle onto a 4WD drive vehicle or vice versa.
The 1/2 tons used the 4L60E and the 3/4 tons used the 4L80E
It does not matter if it's a 4x4 are 2-wheel drive. 1/2 tons used the 4L60E transmission and the 3/4 tons used the 4L80E in them.
YES. As long as the 93 is a 4x4 too. 2 and 4-wheel drive transmissions are different. WILL NOT INTERCHANGE.
No. The 1/2 ton trucks will have a 4L60E transmission in it. The 3/4 ton trucks have a 4L80E trans. in them. The 4-wheel drive transmission are different then the 2-wheel drives.
If the 95 is a 1/2 ton, Then it must have the 4L60E transmission put in it. If the 95 is a 3/4 ton, Then it MUST have the 4L80E transmission put in it. 4-wheel and 2-wheel drive transmissions will NOT INTERCHANGE
A 4l60e transmission uses a series of bands and hydraulic pressure to downshift. This changes the gearing ratio inside of the transmission which is then output to the drive shaft and wheels.
You will need a 4L60E that is for a 4x4 truck and that would be the K model. 2 and 4-wheel drive transmissions are different and will NOT interchange.
The 4t60e is a 4speed Transverse 60 (rating) and E for electronically controlled transmission used in front wheel drive cars. The 4L60e is a 4spd Longitudinal 60 (rating) and E for electronically controlled. If your vehicle is rear wheel drive or 4wheel drive it would have the 4l60e.
4l60e
That would be a 4L60E transmission, That's what it had in it from the factory.
