Possibly Yes. It depends what music is on the iTunes library on the PC you are plugging into.
Whatever is in the itunes library on the PC gets copied to the iPod
..ie the itunes library syncs with the ipod plugged in.
Now If you only want to charge the ipod then go into itunes BEFORE you plug the ipod in and go to options and deselect the option to automatically sync when an ipod is plugged in. Even if you cant do that.... another option might be....once you plug in the ipod it starts to sync so cancel the sync as it takes a few seconds to fully start... or close itunes as soon as it opens so you don't get a sync being performed.
Like any other piece of technology an iPod can get a virus if you have synchronized your iPod onto a computer that has a virus
You can transfer music from the iPod to any computer, as long as that computer has iTunes.
No, but iTunes is so STUPID that if you have music that you previously purchsed on the iPod, then you can't put your friends music on. They want you to pay for your own. Thanks a lot, Apple>:(
Well, to put songs onto your ipod, you hook it up to a computer, and when you hook your ipod up to a computer, it charges anyway, and so you really don't need to worry about that. But yes, it would be better if it was charged.
Yes you can. You take what ever music you have on your Ipod and transfer it to a computer. Then you can transfer it from the computer to the Ipod.
No, your music on your computer will be safe. However, bscause iTunes only allows an iPod to be synced with one music library at a time, the music won't be able to be synced to another computer.
When you have your ipod hooked up to the computer, click on it, then click on pictures. It will want to know what folder to use and every time you sync it, any photos in that folder will be synchronized.
You can use cucusoft ipod to computer transfer to copy your iPod music back to computer, this will help a lot when you erased your music on PC.
It will delete music from iPod Touch, but the regular iPod i don't know about.
The easiest way to get music to your iPod is to plug it into a computer that has iTunes and click Sync. But if you have the Touch, you can buy the songs by accessing the internet directly from your iPod. Or, if your iPod and your computer have bluetooth, you can send the music via bluetooth.
you have to make sure that your ipod is hooked up to the computer to download music.
If there is music that is not on your computer or synced to your computer the computer will replace it with things it recognizes AKA music on your computer. to fix go on your ipod menu in itunes and click do not auto sync when plugged. also click manually manage music and you can put on your music from your computer on your ipod and be happy.
