No. It really shouldn't make a difference as long as your nails are not extremely long. Fake nails shouldn't get in the way of anything, just be careful not to snag it on any part of the saxophone while your putting it together or resting with it. Now if your nails are really long for example over 2 inches or so, it would be hard to do pretty much anything. So I would be very weary of that. But as long as your comfortable with it then it should be perfectly okay.

I think you can get nail strengthening varnish though. don't bite your nails and put stuff on them to help them grow faster duhh!!! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- okay i don't know who answerd that qestion earlier but they're wrong. nails and hair are technecly the same thing they are both results of the nutriance you don't need. so to keep them long and strong, you're going to have to cut the tips of them when they get dull, you cannot bite or chew them and you will have to eat a lot of protein and fiber. fiber makes your nails and hair grow dramaticlly.
