Windows Movie maker wont work because the required audio hardware can not be found?

It means that you have hardware problems. If more precisely windows cannot properly recognized the audio card. There are at least two reasons for that. The first one is drivers. Make sure that you have correct version if required reinstall. The second reason is hardware which is more complicated and might require extra effort from you. Make sure that the card was installed properly.

But you have sound and you are able to listen music and watch movie with sound than the problem is the movie maker. Check its settings, especially audio/sound settings. That message means your Windows Movie Maker program can't find any audio device(s) on your system. You have to have speakers on your system for Windows Movie Maker to work.
