Present generation monorails could operate in winter conditions such as they are in Canada, Scandinavia and Russia but they would not be economically viable.
The present cast-in-place type of concrete construction does not stand up well to fluctuations in humidity, cold, snow, ice and salt. Such structures do not tolerate cold weather harmonic load frequencies. The simple fact the top of the track is flat would allow the accumulation of snow and water (ice), and consequently lumps of packed snow and ice.
Another point is that electricity may be very effective when it can be transformed into some workforce, however it's transmission losses are astronomical. Cold winter weather would only increase these losses.
A newer monorail system is needed. A precast, pre-stressed, concrete modular track assembly, with a crescent running surface and thermal-expansion design. Passenger car designed with dual-duroplast insulated panels and thermopane auto-glass, cars with integral Ni-Cad batteries and Hydrogen fuel cells.
Oddly both the existing and newer technologies described above have been around for three or more generations. Who would be willing to design and build a monorail system that would be adaptable to all weather conditions?
what are winter road conditions from seattle to redding ca
Yes.
It's winter
Maintaining inground pools require continually maintenance to make them operate properly. Cleaning, chemical treatment, and filtration service are all required. During winter, pools must also be weatherized.
Tourists that are generally from hot climatic conditions going to a place of interest where there is winter is called winter tourism.
what are the winter conditions and tempertures
Winter
Yes its legal.
they cant live in warm conditions and if the winter fairies come in they would freeze everything and the other fairies can not live in cold conditions
Yes you can kayak in the winter. It is very important to dress properly in the winter though, a dry suit with thermal underwear is usually enough.
Cool rain (not warm rain).
