Yes! Fisher Cats are known to eat small animals such as squirrels and chipmunks but are also known to hunt domestic house cats and even small to medium sized dogs. Since fishercats are mainly nocturnal, it would be a VERY smart idea to make sure that your pet is inside at night.
Fishers, sometimes called fisher cats, are not cats but are members of the weasel family and are found in North America. They are a medium sized animal that eats other small animals. They could cause injury to a human who tries to molest them but would find it difficult to kill a human. There is another animal called the fishing cat from Asia that is a true wild cat but they are very shy around people and would pose no danger to humans unless molested.
In recent years there have been several reports of fishers attacking small dogs and cats and in at least one case, a small child.
I would get a big dog -- one that likes to hunt and chase. Maybe you could borrow one. I would avoid having the dog backing the fisher cat into a corner, but if you keep the dog on a leash or rope long enough to intimadate the fisher cat, I bet it will soon decide to move on.

yes a dog can kill a cat

if you have a dog and a cat that get on, kill the cat, viola!!!
yes
Tame it!
OpinionPossibly if the cat was greatly threatening and harmful to either it or it's owner(s). Though a dog might only kill a cat because of his or her size in comparison to the cat. If size is not the issue, then the dog might have possibly had an issue with this cat. Otherwise, the dog would just do it because of intrusion.OpinionMany dogs are trained to be territorial and aggressive. Several breeds of dogs are more aggressive. Those types of dogs would also attack a child or vulnerable adult crossing within their reach or pull a small dog under a fence in order to kill it. Aggressive dog attacks are one of the most common types of small claims filed in civil court.
I think it would be the dog but it depends what kind of cat where talking about here. If it was a tiger, lion, jaguar, leopard, or any cat that's like that then that cat would win even if it was being ganged up on. It would still probably win but be injured. Dogs, like wolves, hunt in packs. If an African wild dog pack got onto a lion it could kill it; though they would usually hunt other game. Domestic cats could usually get away, but not always. Domestic cats are more agile and athletic but dogs have jaws that can kill so a cat is taking its chances if it stands to fight. The smaller the dog, the more of a chance the cat can chase it off. Even big dogs that get chased off could kill the cat, they just don't have a reason (or the temperament) to at that time. Dogs are more domesticated than cats and usually get along better with others, but they do hate cats (usually).
use a big dog what big dog you idiot
Why would you want to do that? You do not feed a cat to a dog. Feeding a cat to a dog is animal abuse.
