Yes. Definitely!!!
yes...but you have to change and modify a few engine mounts and so on. And modify or change the whole el-wiring in the car
As a transplant direct bolt in no, but you can with modifications
IT SHOULD BE A STRAIGHT SWAP PROVIDING 98 GOLF IS A MK3.
Yes you can mount this engine into a golf cart but you will have to reconfigure the way the engine mounts onto the frame. It's not a direct fit.
No the mountings are different and the gearbox ratios won't be able to pull the heavier golf. Also you will need a custom ECU for the new engine timings. I would just find another 1.4 golf engine if u need one.
There are a multitude of turbos that can fit on an 02 golf. TO better answer your question, please state engine? is it the 2L, 1.8t, 2.6V6??
Yes it probably would!
You are actually average height. You would be able to use a standard shaft, however if you feel uncomfortable you could get custom fit.
yes
Yes, with a few caveats. The 1.8 20 valve turbo from the mk4 Golf is a very popular choice for engine transplants and will fit all Golfs including mk2 and mk3 models. Various VW/VAG forums have a wealth of information on this subject. SD
Yes, albeit new engine and gearbox mounting need to be fabricated.
