Would bypassing your heatercore on a 1994 impala ss be a permanent fix for a leaky heatercore until you replace it an no longer smell it inside the car an stop the windshield from steaming up?

You can do that.you just won't have any heat.But yeah,it's good to do that because,also the water slowly leaking out will cause you're car to overheat and possibly burning engine up,if water gets to low
