That is a bit of opinion I would say... Mine has 190,000 miles on it and has served me very well. I have replaced brakes, shocks, alternator, suspension ball joints, tires, oil, A/C parts etc... to me that is to be expected on any car. Troubles I have had have been cylinder mis-firing on occasion causing me to replace a few ignition coils @ $50 each, but still no big deal. With that many miles, I would check the compression of the engine cylinders. The 4.6 and 5.4 engines from Ford are known to have high sidewall loading due to the rod angle (the 5.4 is worse than the 4.6). Couple this with high silicon alloy pistons and you get by-passing past about 125,000 miles on most engines, causing you to burn oil and smoke on hard acceleration. Most people would just keep oil in it and call it a day... That is up to you I guess. replacement engines are pretty easy to come by and the truck should serve you well for years if you take care of it
