I'm sorry to hear about your situation. Suggest you consider the military. There are many wonderful options in whatever service you choose and you can end up with a great career in your field of choice. They even have an enlistment bonus. They offered my daughter a $20,000 one. That means she would get $20,000 cash to spend as she pleases if/when she signs up. Not bad. Now I know that many people are scared of the military but I think that's mostly from what they see on TV about Boot Camp. My son's in there now and believe me it's not that bad. Sure, they run you around a bit but mostly they're teaching you to be a soldier. No big deal. Now, about Iraq. Yes, we're at war. But if you choose the right career, you won't go anywhere near the fighting. My son chose to be a helicopter mechanic bacause he likes them and being around them he'll learn to fly. For free! Such can be the life in the military. And being a chopper mechanic he'll stay far away from any fighting. He makes the helicopter ready to fly and they take it out on a mission. And if there's any danger, it's far away from him. Then, they bring it back and he makes it ready to fly again. How safe is that!?! And on his off time he get's to fly, see the world, buy lots of cool stuff, fly s'more, etc. Anyway, that's my suggestion. Oh, you can't sign up until you're eighteen without parental permission so you might have to wait another year or so but during that time you could finish high school.
