That is impossible to say. Some women have pain weeks before the birth, and others only when in true labor. Get checked for your own peace of mind, and if the pains are constant (not in waves like a contraction) or you are in severe pain see a doctor immediately.

There are so many causes of abdominal and back pains it is impossible to say. You need to see a doctor. If you have not yet missed a period, that may be why the test is negative.

I would ask your doctor. However, when I was having pains in the side when I was 20 weeks pregnant, My doctor said that it was Round ligament pain. Its just when the ligaments are not wanting to stretch anymore, So its kinda like a muscle cramp.
